RECENT RESTORATION:

This recent restoration is a set of 1860's Glen bagpipes acquired by Bill Carr. He decided to salvage the ivory and nickel mounts and have them mounted on a new set of D. MacPherson bagpipes.



The new set of pipes have hallmarked stirling silver ferrules and ring caps, with ivory bushes. The blowstick mount was turned from an old billiard ball, as were the drone bushes and chanter sole. Here are several before and after images of the set.
