"Although the pipes are not yet broken-in, I can discern the superior tonal qualities of these drones. Sounds are difficult to describe with words, and I would rather not use clichés here… Nonetheless, with the reeds I am currently using (short inverted Ezeedrone bass, and carbon fibre Crozier tenors) I would qualify the tone as “bold yet refined”. It is as though there were only one big drone sounding… I like this very much!"
